Minutes of the meetings held on the 4th September, 7th September and 24th September 2020 pdf icon PDF 93 KB

The Chair will move that the minutes of the meetings for the 4th September and 7th September 2020 be signed as a correct record.

 

The minutes of the meeting held on the 24th September 2020 will be approved at the Human Resources Committee to be held on 1st March 2021.

 

The only part of the minutes that can be discussed is their accuracy.

The minutes of the meetings held on 4th September and the 7th September 2020 were confirmed by the Committee as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

 

The Chair confirmed that the minutes of the meeting held on the 24th September would be approved at the Human Resources Committee held on the 1st March 2021.

Final Interviews Chief Executive and Head of Paid Service

Members will conduct final interviews for the position of the Chief Executive and Head of Paid Service before making a recommendation to Council on the appointment.

Minutes:

The Chair confirmed that the Committee would be conducting the final interviews for the post of Chief Executive and Head of Paid Service

 

The Chair proposed that, due to the confidential nature of the information to be discussed, the committee passed a resolution that, by virtue of paragraphs 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting.

 

On resumption of the open session the Chair confirmed that three candidates for the post of the Chief Executive and Head of Paid Service had attended to give a presentation and final interview.

 

RESOLVED: That the Human Resources Committee recommend for approval to the Council meeting on the 15th October 2020 the appointment to the post of Chief Executive and Head of Paid Service
