An e-Petition is an alternative to collecting physical signatures. If you want to set up an e-petition, you will first need to register (with your name and email address).

Your e-petition must only relate to 1 issue and you will need to include: a title for your petition, the reason for your petition, what action you would like the council to take and when you want the petition to end (maximum of 1 month).

Supporting an e-Petition

To support an existing e-Petition choose an e-Petition and add your name, address and email address.

To find out more about the issue, see the supporting information, provided by the lead petitioner, attached to the e-Petition.

Submitting an e-Petition

An e-Petition can relate to any issue on which the Council has powers or duties or on which it has shared delivery responsibilities through the Local Area Agreement or other partnership arrangement.
